Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school district is located in Mattawa, a rural city in Washington State. Our district serves over 2,500 students in Preschool through 12th Grade. Over 96% of our students come from low-income families. There are few local opportunities for my students to experience the world outside their small town. E-Sports is a way for some of them to compete with other schools and participate in high school competitions.

We do not have the equipment needed in order to be able to be competitive so we are requesting your help in the purchase of some of the needed equipment.

The Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association has started competitive esports and two of the three games can be played on the Nintendo Switch, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and Rocket League.
