My students are compassionate, persistent, and eager to learn! They want to succeed and help each other to do so. They embrace new strategies for learning and are always willing to explore new ideas to better grasp concepts.
My students represent a vast array of cultural backgrounds!
Our school has a large population of English Language Learners that represent over 25% of our school. We welcome and embrace diversity! There is no better place than first grade to see all of these children from all over the world working together in beautiful harmony!
My Project
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and along with most schools, we have been asked to institute education through an E-learning platform. While our district does have a one-to-one technology initiative, Kindergarten through second grade are not included in this.
We would love to place at least one Chromebook in the homes of each of our school families!
As a staff, we fill as though this would help to level the playing field and truly allow our students to be able to continue their education! As we come back to school, students will be able to use their Chromebooks for in-class and home assignments.
