My students need new interactive play sets and role-playing game items for intensive language therapy.
This project expired on January 23, 2012.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
How important is the ability to communicate? VERY! Language is learned in so many ways and dramatic play is just one of them. Help me reach some kiddos with new and exciting materials.
I serve preschool kiddos with special needs on up to 6th graders in general education setting.
The needs of my students range from severe to mild. I have a rather large caseload with individual needs. Early intervention is my area of passion. I love working with my students and seeing them flourish.
With interactive play sets I can possibly reach kiddos that are non verbal or have severe language needs. Hands on activities help kiddos in a natural learning environment. Engaging children in activities that with increase their receptive and expressive language is key. The power of play is AWESOME!
Please help me make a difference in my students lives.
We all know that school budgets are being cut and Special Ed is not exempt from the cuts being made. In the last few years I have spent money out of my own pocket, but it is getting harder to fund my program on my own.
