Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As you all know, children are full of natural curiosity. My scholars investigate, question, and process the wonders around them. We are especially riveted by meaningful and purposeful hands-on experiences. We love to explore.
We are always on the lookout for new experiences that might ignite a spark and inspire learning.
My students are able to hone their 21st century skills by analyzing, synthesizing and evaluating information and then using that knowledge to tackle challenges that give them the opportunity to collaborate, communicate and be creative.
My Project
In order to provide dynamic lessons at home and in the classroom, we would love subscriptions to Flocabulary and Nearpod I have searched the Internet for engaging platforms to teach students our educational standards in an engaging way. Those platforms are few and far between... and they don't cover many of the math and language arts standards. Flocabulary and Nearpod also have a variety of other resources in science, social studies, and the arts to spice up our curriculum.
These online resources have a wide variety of lessons presented in an interesting way!
These websites will help students in the classroom and at home learn and practice essential academic skills!
