This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Special Education students have the opportunity to have supplemental aids such as 100s charts. During the year students need to use the supplemental aid consistently and effectively in order to use it during STAAR testing. Experience has taught me that these durable 100s charts allow students to practice without the hassle of erasing or damaging the supplemental aid. They also learn tricks on how to benefit from the 100 chart with topics such as the 9's multiplication which go across in a diagonal line, or use the prime and composite trick, aside from also seeing fractions simplified before their eyes with a simple line set across certain numbers.

These 100 charts will be a game changer for our students during in class instruction.
