Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students we work with benefit from multimodal instruction - seeing, hearing, touching, moving information. They also benefit from multiple exposures to new and learned information - so having interactive materials that are durable and long lasting is a necessity!! We often use the same materials in various groups throughout the day and reuse lessons weekly, monthly, and yearly as needed for students. Having materials like page protectors allow us to cut down on our carbon footprint by having students write and erase directly on the page protector with expo markers rather than printing lots of copies! For interactive supplies, the 5m laminating pouches will be essential in keeping materials safe and lasting from student to student and year to year. Last but not least, having Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards on hand will allow us to be prepared to purchase and prep any resources that we need for particular student needs.
