My students live in the lowest-income community in the state. They do not always have access to materials they need to be successful for how they learn.
My students are learning growth mindset toward their education on a daily basis, and they continually inspire me to be the best teacher I can be for them.
My students are amazing because they have many obstacles that they need to overcome to be successful in the classroom (Did they eat last night? Did they get to sleep or take care of siblings?)
My students demonstrate a willingness to learn, especially when they know their interests are a PRIORITY. When my students feel like they are provided materials that set them up for success, they achieve more. This is why continually updating classroom texts and resources that teach national and world issues is a necessity!
My Project
In a primary classroom setting, students use tons of paper and supplies to complete daily work tasks— this project eliminates the waste or need for paper and other materials. Kids can write directly on this dry-erase board table!

This durable workspace is a dry-erase writing table. Often students can become disengaged in completion of work because there are too many materials or papers to keep track of. This table and flexible seating kit eliminates those frustrations for students. As a classroom teacher for young primary learners, I am always looking for ways to help increase engagement and ease frustrations. Having minimal materials needed for small-group lessons increases students engagement and help my students learn. This table set is perfect for engaging young learners because it is a write & wipe table. When students make an error there is no need to waste time making corrections by looking for supplies. This workspace set includes wobble chairs too! Which gives kids a full range of movement and the stability they need to wobble without tipping over during lesson practice.
