Help me give my students in my Dual language, flexible seating. We have a class of 26 eager learners. We break into small groups for differentiated groups. With limited classroom space we want to utilize floor space.
I teach an amazing group of 4th-grade students. We are a culturally diverse school with most of the students being English Language Learners. Despite their challenges, they are very inquisitive and eager to learn. Over half of my students come from low income homes where there are not resources readily accessible for students.
This year, my 4th grade classroom transformed into a Dual Language 4th grade classroom.
My students will benefit on many levels by being part of a dual language curriculum. The students are learning Spanish and English horizontally.
We have super eager learners in our dual language classroom. We find it necessary to break into small groups for differentiated learning. Finding space is a challenge for groups. We have been sitting on the floor for small groups.
It would be wonderful for my groups to have this flexible seating and get the students in a better position for learning.
We find it necessary to get our student up and moving quite often to retain their attention. By allowing us to purchase this flexible seating, our students will have a better place to meet for small groups, than the floor.
