Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are awesome. They are always coming to class ready to learn and with all the energy a child can have. They are dual language learners so we are always very busy learning with different resources.
My students are strong and they love to try new things.
They enjoy learning with new ways and they never say no! They are my future scientists and they deserve the best. They are always walking in the classroom with smiles in their faces no matter their situations.
My Project
My students need a variety of chapter books in spanish and english. The books are targeted for both male and female and they will be very excited to read all of the books. My students are a dual language classroom so they have to have exposure to both languages. These books are perfect for that occasion and to keep them engaged and focused.
The books are of high interest and will be used during reading time and centers.
Last year our school was affected via Hurricane Harvey and caused us to start late and we lost instruction. I want to provide the most for my students and make sure that they come to class ready to learn.
