My Students

Most of the students who found our school needed a different way to learn--they had hit every challenge in the book and been told all too many times that they would never succeed. With our individualized plans, these kids are gaining confidence and quickly realizing that they can graduate!

What's more, a cohort of our kids are going a step beyond and enrolling in dual enrollment college courses.

That's right, kids who people thought would drop out are taking college classes!

My Project

Many of our students are currently pushing themselves to not only graduate, but begin getting college credit through dual enrollment programs with our local community college.

These kids struggled in school before joining us, and are now feeling so empowered that they are tackling college-level courses.

These courses are online, though. So our kids need the option of borrowing laptops to be able to complete the professors' assignments off campus and over the weekends. With these Chromebooks, our kids can start earning college credit while still in high school and make it that much more likely that they will continue on to college once they graduate.
