My students need cubbies to help them be more organized and successful! They need dry erase white boards for daily activities. I love to use white boards for assessing them in a fun way!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My class is wonderful! They are a diverse group of kids that come from all different walks of life. They are funny and energetic which makes our classroom environment very exciting! They have a love and zeal for life and I absolutely love being their teacher.
My students would truly benefit from a classroom that is FOR THEM!
They should feel important, validated, and worthy of a nice room. Their class should be a place they feel comfortable and happy to be in. They deserve the best!
My Project
My students could really use some white boards. We have old, stained and warn out boards currently. They should not feel like they are having old hand-me-downs. It should be a fun part of the day and getting something fresh and new is great for that. They will love doing assessments, fluency, and games on these! As a part of our daily routine the students use white boards for warm-ups as well as some of their end of lesson assessments. This is a fun and different approach instead of the traditional paper/pencil they are used to. Any way to get them more engaged is a plus in my eyes!
They also need cubbies so they can become organized, self-sufficient, and mature.
If a student is organized, they will be set up to win! Helping students grow into responsible kids is important to me. If I can get them to turn in assignments, grab their graded assignments, and slowly work towards maturity, I will be so pleased!
