My Project

My Long Branch Middle School 7th-grade math classes are a determined group of 66 students nestled in the heart of a Title 1 district, where financial constraints often pose challenges to providing quality educational resources. It is with great enthusiasm that we present the case for our Donors Choose campaign to acquire dry erase markers for our math class. These markers are not merely writing tools; they are catalysts for enhanced engagement, participation, and academic performance.

The socioeconomic landscape of our district makes access to essential educational resources a constant struggle.

Many of our students face financial hardships that extend beyond the classroom, affecting their ability to engage fully in the learning process. Despite these challenges, our students exhibit a tremendous thirst for knowledge and a remarkable eagerness to participate in class activities.

Dry erase markers have proven to be invaluable tools in our classroom, fostering an environment where learning is not only accessible but also enjoyable. The tactile experience of using markers on whiteboards adds an interactive element that captivates our students' attention and imagination. More importantly, the markers facilitate formative assessment, a crucial aspect of gauging student understanding and adapting instructional strategies.

We humbly request support for our Donors Choose campaign to acquire a sufficient supply of dry erase markers. Your contribution will directly impact the learning experiences of 66 students who are eager to overcome challenges and excel in mathematics.
