This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our students come from the inner city. They are good children and they are eager to learn. Many students come from challenging backgrounds and they depend on school to be a safe and important part of their day. Our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Our students are in serious need of many school related items.

The students are kind and compassionate. They work and play well together. Most importantly they believe in community and they love school. New supplies will help them on their way.

My Project

We Need Dry Erase Markers and Pencils!! These dry erase markers and pencils are learning tools that run out and need to be replaced. Our students use dry erase markers during phonics, math instruction, and guided reading times during the day. We also use dry erase markers during math small group learning times.

Students constantly need pencils as we use them for every subject in school.

Your donations of pencils make for a much smoother learning day when we have them for the children.
