Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have twenty-five first graders who are eager to learn. They love to come to school and the school year requires several supplies that will be used. Our school is a Title One elementary school in the California Bay Area. Supplies are in constant need to be replenished and donations from families are limited.
Children thrive with hands-on learning.
All of our students love to learn and I make it my goal to help them absolutely love coming to school each and every day.
My Project
Dry erase boards offer many uses in a classroom. Students are able to write their responses to questions without wasting paper.
Dry erase boards are a wonderful tool for checking for understanding throughout the school day.
Students would use the dry erase boards for math problem solving. This includes addition, subtraction, comparing numbers, drawing shapes, and more.
Students will also be able to write down responses to prompts on their dry erase boards. This includes writing sentences, nouns, verbs, adjectives, and more.
There are so many uses for the dry erase boards. They are a wonderful tool for quick assessments in the classroom.
