My Students

Ninety-four percent of the students receive free or reduced-price lunch. Sixty-three percent of the students are English as a Second Language students. Some of the students are homeless. There are a lot of special needs students at the school.

The neighborhood that the school resides in was hit by a tornado a few years ago.

Some of the students live with grandparents or in single-parent homes. A lot of the parents are unemployed due to the recession and the economy.

My Project

These dry erase boards will help the students to gain more knowledge in math and reading. The children will use the boards in small groups, individually, and as an entire class. The kids will use the dry erase boards to do vocabulary words and math assignments. These are essential everyday supplies students need to succeed. The children need to be prepared to learn about reading and math in a very competitive world.

The dry erase boards will help the kids to become successful in life.

The supplies will help the students increase their knowledge of math and reading. Please help the children.
