Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are learning English as a second language! They are vibrant fourth graders who have tough lives. My students have the highest goals, hopes and dreams, but due to life's hardships, they need help in attaining them! The sky is the limit for them as they dream of having an educated future!
My students live in the inner city and school is an oasis for them.
They fight through a lot of challenges and somehow never give up.
Language, with many parents being illiterate, and poverty are just some of the things they struggle with.
Our classroom is colorful and uplifting to offer hope to all who enter and study here!

21st century skills demand the ability of kids to navigate the art of working on a team!
These dry erase boards would instantly transform ordinary desks into team work spaces encouraging the art of collaboration, communication, creativity and critical thinking which will be the keys to future success for my students! With these dry erase Boards and markers my students can enjoy the intensity of problem solving across the curriculum and make beautiful presentations while doing it! The best part is we can save trees at the same time by eliminating the need for chart paper!
