This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are 95% minorities and most come from low-income but good families. My school has the highest rate of students in the foster care system in my district.

My students have suffered greatly during this outbreak.

A lot of parents have lost their jobs due to the outbreak making an already challenging life a lot harder. There are those kids who are also living with an extended family or are living in apartments. This makes paying attention in class very difficult because of all the noise.

My Project

My student's need a sturdy drone that we can program(code) and be outside.

Codrones are one of the better drones to program.

They can handle being outside where it can be windy (as it can be in my area) and are very stable.

The codrones are also perfect to program because they are made really. These drones can run into things like a tree or part of an outside obstacle course and they will not break so easily. Robolink also gives you some replacement parts just in case they do break.
