Drones... Giving the Students the Ability to Explore and Fly...
Help me give my students the iPad that I am requesting, which are instrumental in allowing students to explore and fly....the ultimate STEAM experience. It allows my students to work together collaboratively.
I am trying to break down the barriers and introduce both female and male students to an education that doesn't revolve around a textbook, it involves their eyes, their ears and most of all their creativity. My students will be using their hands, their minds, their experiences and technology to explore STEAM with the use of drones.
We have a great student body in our school but for many without taking this class, they will only have access to these adventures by use of modern technology and the virtual experiences.
Our school district is a low funded, high poverty district, so getting this experience is very limited. I have many great students that are eager and willing to learn with this new technology; the school just doesn't have the funds to purchase this technology... so I am looking to provide my students with every opportunity to make the best with this classroom experience.
My Project
The iPad that I am requesting is instrumental to allowing students to explore and fly....the Ultimate STEAM experience. It allows my students to work together collaboratively and be active participants in the flying experience. This technology will make it much more comfortable for them and it will make their flight time more interactive and enjoyable. Hopefully, this will result in my students feeling confident to take the leap into a technology field. With this technology, the boys/girls will gain confidence and be able to use technology they may already be familiar with and hopefully this experience will spar a new adventure to creativity.
