My Project

This is a great project because it gives my students an opportunity to learn about the world of drones. Jobs using drones will increase over 51% in the next few years and exposing my students to this career arena is very important. Students will first take a course to receive their recreational drone certification.

This past year I had over 400 students receive their certification and this important because if my students learn how to fly drones, I want to make sure they understand the safety and the laws pertaining to drone flying.

The students learn the science behind drones, what they are used for, careers in drones, and they learn specific skills in flying drones.

The drones I am requesting will give students the ability to test their drone flying skills and have fun doing it. I have a specific course they fly that involve paying attention to how the drone maneuvers. Drone use will continue to grow in the future. These drones I am asking for will give students beginning exposure to drones.
