Dress Up Dramatic Play!

Help me give my students a more enriching dramatic play center! These items will supplement materials we currently have in the center and offer variety while offering opportunities for social interaction!

My Students

This project will service children who qualify for public preschool either with a diagnosed disability or by meeting income requirements. Children in this program are ages 3-5. When a child with a diagnosed disability turns 3 years old, they are eligible to attend our program. They typically stay in our classroom until they are old enough to go to Kindergarten. This means some children are in our class for almost 3 years. The amount of growth we see is amazing!

My Project

The dramatic play center is a great opportunity for our learners to practice every day skills while interacting socially. This is especially important for our class as all of our children are either “at risk” or have a diagnosed disability. This provides a place for our learners to have fun while learning and growing! Dramatic play is a favorite among our class and we love to be able to provide a variety of materials for them to interact with.

Currently we have a child sized couch and chair, along with a kitchen set.

Our set of dishes and some of the play food is worn or has been lost or broken. These items will help replace some of those things.
