My Students

We are a choice school, so some students live in the neighborhood while others come from neighborhoods across town. Typically our families are busy, hard working parents who want the best for their child. I work hard to partner with the parents to help support their child in class and at home. My school is a small school, usually with just two sessions of each grade. Because our school is a choice school, we are now beginning to grow. This year we will have three sessions of first grade. Yes, this is an amazing school with teachers who truly love their jobs and families, who want to bring their children here.

My Project

DreamBox is a quality, individualized Math computer program that helps children develop a conceptual understanding of mathematics. This computer program is a powerful, individualized instruction which allows each child to grow independently as a mathematician and has been proven to raise student achievement in mathematics. Dream box compliments our newly adopted bridges math program nicely. Students can access this program from any computer at school or at home. This program is a fun energized program that meets each child at their independent understanding of math. My class is excited to start this quality program that is fun and differentiates each child's lesson to meet their mathematical needs.
