I teach a non-categorical Head Start program in a very low income area. The non-categorical program allows children with severe disabilities (such as Failure to Thrive, Brittle Bone Syndrome, Autism, and Down Syndrome) to attend a full day educational program. Recently, our class's proposal, "Dream of a Decade Part 1" was funded by a generous donor. Thanks to this donor, we will now be receiving a paper shredder and a copier/all-in-one printer. We are truly thankful for what this donor has funded. However, in the process of writing our proposal, we did not want the price tag to become overly expensive. Therefore, we thought it would be best to break it up into parts. We are now asking for the supplies to support the products from the original proposal. The items that we are most in need of are a USB cable and six ink cartridges. These items will assist us in making our Dream of a Decade become a reality. We yearn to be able to copy and print all the required materials in order to remain effective teachers. If this proposal could be funded... we would greatly appreciate it.
