Help me give my students a new home living center that can be changed every 6 weeks to fit our curriculum. During Covid, our centers were cleaned so much that they look old and ragged.
I have the most wonderful, energetic students. I have a very diverse classroom. I teach a classroom with 20 general education students and 10 special needs students. We are loud and fun. We plan on growing as readers, writers, and critical thinkers this year!
I serve a low-income population in my classroom.
We have lots of ideas and talk about lots of things, but we are struggling to fund some of the materials to give my students diverse experiences.
My Project
Our dramatic play area looks old and ragged, because of all the cleaning procedures that we follow because of covid. We follow the creative curriculum and these new play props will let us revamp our dramatic play area. Dramatic play is a wonderful area to learn how to share, talk to each other, and work together. It is also a wonderful place to learn new vocabulary, learn new jobs, and learn math skills. Dramatic play is an amazing place where students can pretend to be anything. The more students pretend and play together, the more likely they are to gain self confidence. The more confident they are the more likely they are to succeed.
