My Students

Approximately 75% of the students at our school receive free or reduced-priced lunch. Many are low-income, poverty, homeless, and we have a high number of military families. There is an amazing group of hard-working young adults in my class. They strive every day to do their best and succeed. Their goals and dreams are to achieve a high school diploma and go to college.

These students take any obstacle in their path head-on and don't let it slow them down.

These students overcome so many different setbacks during their time in school.

My Project

I love to see my students working hard at trying to solve their investigations and various real world problems in our history class. My students love the struggles that they encounter while trying to find their answers, which is amazing to watch. All my students love to incorporate various forms of art into our activities, projects, and presentations. I have a mixture of students who love to use music, videos, and drawing to make this happen. I am requesting items that will allow all my students new resources to make this happen. I am requesting earbuds and headphones for my students who create music and videos to present and display their work. The Popsockets phone stands will be used to give my students the ability to stand their cell phones up while making videos to keep them from moving around so much during the recording which will make them more professional. For the students that love to draw and doodle as their art form, I am requesting colored pencils and various sharpie markers. The white bags will be used for part of a video that several of my students are making to showcase their history investigation findings. Without support of donors like you, my students would not have access to amazing opportunities like these. Thank you for considering to support my students through this project.
