My Students

My students are very driven in their interest of technology. Most of my students have taken multiple technology electives because of their passion for the field of technology. Their coding, video editing, graphic art, and animating skills are very creative and impressive for their age level. They are eager and hungry for additional opportunities to expand their knowledge and experience in the technology field, and are quickly developing skills that will make them college and career ready.

My Project

Most of our students have had periods of virtual learning rather than in-person learning at some point since the start of the pandemic. Our students are anxious to take advantage of the resources only available to them while physically attending school. This is especially true in technology classes where students did not have access to technology equipment normally available to them in the classroom. Graphic drawing tablets are a piece of technology equipment that can be used in multiple technology classes. Students can use them to draw art in our graphic drawing classes. Students can also use them to animate or create graphics and logos in our movie production classes to enhance their videos. These opportunities will help our students become college and career ready as they develop skills that will help them be competitive in an ever growing industry.
