Dramatic Play Kitchen Needs Some Tender Loving Care.
My students need new dramatic play items. My classroom items are worn out and my children need new items. I am asking for new babies, food items and dramatic play animal and doctor sets.
I work in a public school that provides education to special needs preschool students. My students are amazing individuals with unique needs. Each of my students works hard each day as they develop skills to increase their social emotional, motor, language, and academic skills. They have many abilities, but need specific teaching strategies to help them make progress. They love spending time playing during our preschool day. I truly feel blessed each day that I get to teach and be involved with such incredible children.
My Project
I am a special education preschool teacher. My classroom has a dramatic play kitchen and dress up area that needs some tender loving care. I am requesting new items to help refresh the area and give the children new items to play with. Several of our items have broken over the years and are needing to be replaced. Many of my students need to work on their social interactions and language development. This area is available daily to my students as they engage in play interactions with each other. This helps build their language skills, motor, social skills and they truly love playing house, restaurant and kitchen. This is a valuable area to help their skills develop.
