Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Most recently, our students started making mud pies and cakes for each other. Students will love it if they had an actual station, like the outdoor mud kitchen set in this project to create and put their mud pies. The furniture set will help them to bring the living room outdoors. It will encourage social interactions and conversations that will help with problem-solving and to express their ideas.

This project is special because it focuses on providing our preschoolers with the ability to imagine, be creative, role-play, and support social skills.

Covid-19 has impacted everyone, even our youngest learners, especially in their ability to socialize. They need to play with materials that are going to encourage social interactions and help them with early literacy skills.
