Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am hoping to spice up my dramatic play center! In our curriculum we have thematic units of study. With each unit of study we change our dramatic play area to match the theme. For example in Unit 4 Colors, we change the dramatic play center into a Laundromat. We talk about different colored clothes and how stains can change the colors of clothes. To engage in these thematic centers we need supplies.

I am hoping to fund materials for Unit 4 Color, Unit 5 Shadows and Reflections and Unit 6 Things That Grow. We will use the washer and dryer in our Laundromat, we will make a campsite with a bbq for unit 5 and we will have a flower shop in unit 6.
