My class consists of 20 clever and hard working Pre-K students. My students love to learn and explore the world around them. They are very energetic and curious and come to school each day eager to learn and experience new adventures. Our curriculum is play-based and taught through a variety of centers and hands on activities. The students engage in a variety of thematic activities each day that promote social and emotional growth as well as problem solving and critical thinking skills.
My Project
Dramatic play is a very important and essential component to any early childhood program. These dramatic play materials will help my students develop a broad range of skills that will give them a better understanding of themselves and the world around them. The materials will give my students the opportunity to experience role play situations and learn important social and communication skills while building critical thinking skills and problem solving skills. Students will have the opportunity to experiment with the social and emotional roles of life which will help build their self confidence and prepare them to become successful adults.
