Drama Fundraiser/ Tangible Evidence of Student Exemplars
Help me give my students access to color printing. The Drama Troupe is working to fundraise for the rights to GodSpell for next semester, having recently purchased a button press machine, and the ink will go towards this.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am proud to be a faculty member at a high school in Gilmer, Georgia. My student population is rural conservative and the school is a Title 1 location. The low socioeconomic status throughout our student population is something my county has been working very hard to accommodate.
We proudly offer a one-to-one device program for our students.
Each student is assigned a Chromebook for use throughout the year and we are a Google-based school, working in conjunction with Google Classrooms to foster digital efficacy amongst our students.
This is my eighth year in education here in Georgia but only my first year within this system. I am working in English Language Arts as well as Drama. My students are full of heart. They are studious and motivated. I am proud of the buy-in and engagement throughout the system and am enjoying getting to know my community. Having access to regular color printing (sustained through your generosity) will supplement my ability to provide quality instruction to these youths.
My Project
While the school provides access to digital technologies, the faculty and staff do not have access to a color printer at the school. Many of the students' products, which I proudly display within the hallways outside my classroom, rely heavily upon color within their composition. The device which I have been blessed to procure will allow me to create tangible evidence for this purpose. I am excited to be able to supplement my instruction with this device. I am utilizing it to generate better products for instruction and display exemplars. Please consider supplementing my ability to provide resources for my students.
