My Students
This is a K-5 elementary school with a diverse population that provides strong academics. There is a calm learning environment, and each student is valued at the school. We have many goals established for our students to get them ready for middle school, high school, and college.
Each student has a great deal to share, and we all learn from each other.
There are many programs done throughout the year to enhance our community of learners and bring us together.
My Project
This project will help students create 3-D designs of Dr. Seuss images. The school will be participating in a learning buffet based on Dr. Seuss books. They will rotate from table to table to read, write, and create based on what they read in a Dr. Seuss book. The students will create 3-D designs of images of The Cat in the Hat, The Lorax, The Grinch, The Sneetches, or any other characters from a Dr. Seuss book. After they create the image with the 3Doodler, the students will write a display plaque about their design for other students to read.
