This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are in a dual immersion charter school. As a teacher, I try to provide my students, primarily "Spanish Experts", with as many visual aids and extra tools as possible.

As an all-inclusive charter school, we emphasize biliteracy and the arts, by administering hands-on materials to make learning equitable for all diverse learning abilities.

With this Arts and Language Development rich environment, it is important to provide students with engaging lessons in science as well, so they can understand the world around them. Help me provide engaging lessons.

My Project

Most people see typical Crayola Markers as just the basic school markers on the list to send to school. I would like to show my students how to get the most bang for the buck!

Our Crayola Washable Marker Art project will teach the students how to use their markers as an additional art tool; watercolors!

When they learn the technique of markers as watercolor tools, it opens up a new genre of art for them as a mixed media.

Help me teach these kiddos how to demonstrate their learning targets in science by using art.
