Help me give my students Hot Dots cards and pens. These materials will increase phonemic awareness, blending of words and knowledge of word families for my students.
My students are well-rounded students. They are energetic, hard-working and willing to learn. Learning is always an adventure in First Grade. We are a Title 1 school and serve a diverse population of students . Most of our students receive free or reduced lunch and come from different economic backgrounds.
These materials would be beneficial to my students in many different ways.
Our students come to school having the desire to gain knowledge of basic concepts but need differentiated resources to meet their needs.
My Project
Hot dots cards and pens are tools that students can use to learn basic concepts for reading, comprehension and sight words fluency. These resources will give my students a more interactive way to learn basic concepts like blending, formulating words and phonemic awareness.
My students need differentiated materials that are geared toward certain goals they need to acquire in reading and phonics.
Hot dots will give my students a different approach to phonics instruction and reading fluency. The idea is to make it fun and exciting. Hot dots is the best way to get students engaged and excited about learning a new concept.
