This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Dos Rios is making music again! Our enrollment is booming, which means that there aren't enough instruments for every student to play. Some students need to share, which is more difficult with drums.

With this project, more students will be able to participate in the world drumming without modifications.

Every student will get a chance to use these instruments, but the 6th-8th graders will use them the most. Getting instruments into students' hands helps the music to become real and helps them make real-world connections. Help me to make the music real!
