My students need a set of 3 Doodler pens. The 3 Doodler works like a 3D printer. It can help students make physical sense of concepts that that would otherwise be hard to understand.
I teach in a special education resource classroom. My students are some of the most talented and hard working group of kids I have had the pleasure to teach.
My students teach me as much I as teach them.
My classroom is a place where my students feel safe to express their interests and engage in collaborative learning. Not only do I teach them but they teach me about topics they are interested in as well. This reciprocal learning approach increases student by in and student outcomes for my students.
My Project
This 3 Doodler set will help my students make physical sense of concepts that that would otherwise be hard to understand. This is especially important for my students because they all have mild to moderate disabilities and finding a way to engage them in learning and deliver content in a way that is direct and explicit is essential to allowing them to continue to learn alongside their grade level peers.
The 3 Doodler will facilitate original thinking and expression in my students, free from traditional constraints.
This new technology can bring a new level of creativity and collaboration to my classroom.
