My students need to focus on the lesson and not on the chair. My students need Vinyl Swivel Task Chairs.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our district educates approximately 250 male residential and day students in kindergarten through grade 12 who have emotional, behavioral and learning problems. Most students reside here and live in cottages with an array of different staff members supporting them.
Our classroom has a variety of different chairs from plastic to soft cushion ones.
It would be nice to have chairs that are the same throughout the classroom so no one is fighting or taking time from the lesson to get situated comfortably at their desk. I am tired of saying, "Please don't fight over the chair"
If students could come to class, hop on a computer and log on their computer without moving chairs around, that would be great! It would give us more teaching and productive time!
My Project
Our classroom has a variety of different chairs from plastic to soft cushion ones. The fight over the comfortable chair is always done at the beginning of class as students move chairs around to finally sit down and start the do now.
We want new chairs and the same chairs for us all.
That way, no one is fighting or moving chairs around at the beginning of class. Our classroom will look and feel like we all are on the same page. We will all have the same chair and look and feel like a great team! Together we will strive! A win-win for us all!
We simply want to work together as a team and minimize the time spent with starting our days. We plan to get our lesson started on time without the movement of chairs!
