This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
In a world full of tragedy and violence, our 3-year-old students enter our classroom wise beyond their years. Despite living in one of the toughest neighborhoods in southeast Washington, DC, their vibrant personalities almost make you forget about the sounds of gunshots and police sirens on the other side of the door.
They're soaring to success every day and enjoy learning new things; almost as much as we enjoy teaching them!
They love hands-on activities and being very active!
My Project
In an Early Childhood classroom, germs spread very quickly. Students who have never been in school before often have immune systems that have not yet developed. Because of this, students get sick, and they get sick often. As they touch the materials around the classroom, they pass those germs on to their classmates.
Cleaning and sanitizing supplies will help us keep our environment clean so that our students can focus on learning!
Hand soap will help the students keep their hands clean, and limit the spread of germs. Lysol spray will help keep our classroom toys and materials clean. Clorox wipes, paper towels, all-purpose cleaner, and gloves will help us keep our classroom surfaces clean and allow us to clean up our everyday messes.
