This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in a Title 1 school with a largely diverse population. My students are given the opportunity to have a head start in life by receiving a certification in CNA, MA, or Pharmacy tech. in their senior year.

These students are driven and excited to have a career that will not only help them but that will allow them to give back to their community.

These are our future healthcare professionals and need your help to succeed with their goals.

My Project

Our dual credit medical terminology classes have been using Chrome books to access Google Classroom and Edmodo learning sites. As a department we've have found that the students are more engaged in the lessons.

We, the health science department, want to engage all of our students across the health science curriculum.

The teachers have pulled our collective budgets to purchase a chrome book cart and three chrome books. Now, we need your help in filling the rest of the cart.

We will be using the chrome books to increase student engagement by creating technology based lesson plans, creating a more interactive learning environment not only for dual credit classes but for all students.
