Don't Let a Little Rain Stop You From Celebrating!
Help me give my students supports to calm with a bean bag chair for sensory needs, avenues to link learning through visual aides and to manage their time.
My students are in grades K-6, they resemble the color of the rainbow and their challenges change with the weather. Each day is a day of surprises, sunshine, clouds, rain or even a windstorm. They are precious and special. I love when they smile when they learn something new when they are learning math or being read too. They hold your heart and want you just to believe that they wish that you could see that under neath the changing weather they are strong, dedicated and can climb mountains and reach for the stars. They are champions and need others to believe in them.
My Project
My special education students are visual learners, sensory seekers and independant learners.
Amazing!
What things could be done if my students could enjoy reading a book in a calming space. Or calm when they are having challenging days.... From 10 to 0... Suddenly learning can take place because we need to address their sensory needs. Imagine what a comfy chair can do for you?
For our visual learners in small group, they will benefit from visual examples and one to one manipulatives for reading or math. What a great visual connection!
To help them to be independant learners, they can manage their time by seeing an awesome timer to help them to be successful.
We won't let a little rain stop us from celebrating! But an umbrella of support from you would be so appreciated to make our celebration even bigger!
