My Students

I teach in a small school in Oklahoma. I currently teach 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th graders. Each grade has about 35 students in it. My students are all extremely hard working, thoughtful, and eager to learn. They make me excited to come to work everyday!!

I absolutely love watching the the excitement on my student's faces as they successful accomplish a task they have been working towards!

So many times I hear, "I hate math" or "when will we ever use this." The biggest joy is watching students who come into my class hating math, leave LOVING math.

My Project

Students use their textbooks almost everyday in math. They haul them to class, they stuff them in their lockers, and they haul them home. Textbooks get scratched, torn, and ripped so easily and so often! Finding jumbo book covers is hard and a lot of students will not bring one. I want to keep our textbooks as nice as possible for as long as possible.

By donating to our project you will help me help my students keep their textbooks nice!

Searching all around town for a jumbo book cover will be one less thing my students will have to do.
