Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are inquisitive and making this distance learning a positive experience. Together we are learning during this distance learning time with patience and resilience. Their growth mindset, passion for learning, and patience are what make my first year as a teacher so memorable. They are rock stars!
My Project
These headphones with mics along with the storage cases will allow my students to have an engaging distance learning experience. These special headphones will help block out any noise from shared learning spaces and/or daycare environments. At the same time, I will be able to hear my students clearly and they will not feel self-conscience about the noise around them. The storage cases will allow my students to keep their headphones with mics safe and secure.
During this distance learning time, keeping focus and engagement is key.
Headphones with mics will provide an equitable resource to my students, they will all have the same opportunity. The storage case will help my students store and keep their headphones safe. Most of my students are learning in shared spaces like a daycare, their homes where siblings are also learning, and/or their homes where there are many present distractions that can't be avoided. Ensuring that my students are at ease and comfortable is an essential component to keep them motivated and focused on their learning.
