My Kindergarten students are excited about learning! They love being in school. They especially love learning in fun and engaging ways. One of their favorite things is learning through technology. They love exploring and playing on our classroom iPads.
We have some great technology devices in our classroom, but we need help with covers to protect them, make them run more efficiently, and help them last for a longer period of time.
My students come from a very supportive community. Their parents are willing to help out in any way they can, they just need the supplies, materials, and resources to do so.
My Project
Our school follows the blended learning model. We are a 1:1 classroom. Each student has their own iPad that they can use for learning throughout the school day. We have a lot of apps for reading and math where they can learn and work at their own pace. The apps are tailored to fit the needs of each individual student. I place the students into small learning groups, each group works on different skills, which allows me to work with each group on specific areas where they need improvement.
The problem is that we don't have shock-proof covers for our iPads!
Our school and community council have worked hard to provide the devices for us, but we need to have covers to protect them from little hands. We want the devices to last as long as possible.
