Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Have you ever seen anyone get bullied and you did nothing about it?
The school that we attend is a Title 1 school.
It is in a very low economical area and our school is viewed as disadvantaged. All of our students receive free meals. We are a year around school. Many of our families struggle to make ends meet. The students in my class are English language learners and have limited resources at home.
My Project
The books I have requested will allow my students to learn about bullying. Since my students are in kindergarten they do not quite understand what bullying is and I want for them to understand the effects of bullying. The ipod will provide a variety of music that relates to friendship and bullying. My students will be engaged and learn how to get along. The boombox will allow our class to play the ipod since currently we have no place to dock the ipod. The tablet accessories are needed for our tablet to provide protection so it won't get ruined.
My students are really in need of all of these materials.
