Donna the Document Camera Retires: In Search of a Replacement
Help me give my students an awesome document camera. Our 10 year old document camera recently stopped working, we relied on it throughout every lesson.
This project expired on January 17, 2020.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
We are at a small, Title I school that serves a rural community. My students love coming to school each day. It is a safe and encouraging place to learn together. :)
My first grade students are precious and full of curiosity.
I always say, "First grade is the best grade!" There is so much learning that takes place in first grade. I enjoy seeing my students become independent learners throughout the year. We love to share our stories and our work with one another.
A new document camera will help our class work and learn together with ease. The document camera is often the center of my teaching when modeling tasks, and when reading picture books to the class. It allows everything to be projected onto our smart board and we all are aware of what is being shown. A new document camera would also provide a way for students to share work with classmates and way for students to lead discussions.
PS - Document Cameras are game changers for small show and tell items - Shopkins and Lego men, I'm looking at you!!
