Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students at our school are very serious about their education! They love to face a challenge and actively participate in their classes. We have very bright minds that come to school ready to learn in order to succeed in the future.
In spite of attending a Title 1 school where 100% of students receive free lunch, they are very motivated to learn.
My students are very creative and love attending school. So far the attendance in our classroom is great. Our students come to school because they feel like they are at home. They have the passion for succeeding and impressing if given the chance. Most of the time, all they need is a little support to achieve their dreams.
My Project
The students are our school are in very much need of uniform pants. Most of our title 1 students use hand me down pants from their siblings. These pants are pretty worn off of the knees and seams.
Making a difference in a child's life is as easy as donating a pair of uniform pants.
Uniform pants are essential in elementary. Our students try their best to come to school prepared and ready to learn. Because of low resources, our students have come to school with pants that are ripped at the knees or stitched up in different areas. This causes them to be embarrassed or very uncomfortable. Our students will benefit from having donated uniform pants, so that what they look like at school can be the least of their worries.
