My Students

Today's students have so much exposure to technology, from the phones they use, to the video games they play, to the music they listen to. Why not have that same technology in the classroom? Much time, money and effort is lost by using our costly "old school" projectors.

I teach in an urban district with a diverse range of children varying in backgrounds and ethnicities.

My students are smart, fun, and are totally energetic! They make me laugh on a daily basis and help make our classroom a fun and engaging place to be. My goal is to maintain that same energetic and interactive environment for them. A document camera will be an inviting tool that helps bring Math to life, especially for my struggling students.

My Project

The Epson Document Camera will allow me to display full color visuals to the entire class, without the hassle of photocopying and transparency making. Students can share their own work with the class which is an extremely valuable tool that opens up problem solving strategies to all students. I have already personally purchased an epson projector that can be used with this document camera, if I get the help I need from you!

This interactive tool will benefit my students greatly, and allow me to easily take advantage of teachable moments in the classroom.

If everyone could at least donate $1, my goal of providing this to my students will become a reality.
