My students are resilient kind hearted kids who love to learn while engaged with activities. They challenge me to find new innovative ways to teach and grab their attention. My students are authentic and welcoming to all who come into my classroom. My classroom is made up of many unique learners with many different learning styles. My students are excited about things they love and I can use that enthusiasm and direct it to learning objectives for individual student growth.
My Project
My students struggle with engagement with typical paper and pencil classroom curriculum. In my classrooms my students would greatly benefit from electronic learning platforms for which they increasing motivation. I would use these iPads to when creating classroom curriculum for students to learn on. I could use Google classroom to create electronic work and also apps such as Starfall and Lexia that provide individualized learning opportunities. My students would also benefit from the use of electronic schedules throughout their classroom day. Adding technology will help go keep students engaged in learning and provide more teachable learning opportunities for all my students.
