Help me give my students rewards for their continued hard work. Each day my students work hard to show the 3Rs; Ready to Learn, Respect, and Responsibility.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My students come from all walks of life but my classroom is one thing that is consistent in their lives. Each one of them is unique and they each have a story to tell. When they enter the classroom they are a part of a community that encourages and fosters growth. They are challenged daily to give their best when they enter my classroom.
My students have worked extremely hard all year which is evident and how our quarterly assessment scores have increased each quarter anywhere from 10 to 20 percent.
Having consistency, feeling safe and comfortable while learning helps my students thrive. When students are comfortable and happy in their learning environment, they tend to make more connections with the concepts and develop a love of learning.
It is my goal for students to have rewards to earn as they continue to work hard the remainder of the school year.
These materials will make a difference in my students daily lives because I can reward them with prizes for points they earn when they are exhibiting the 3Rs and continuously working hard.
They have worked extremely hard to master reading concepts and skills such as identifying the main idea and supporting details, characterizing characters in stores, and making inferences.
For many of my students theses concepts and skills are changing because they are reading 1-2 grade levels below however, they come to school everyday with a positive attitude ready to learn.
This project will allow them to trade in points earned for a prize. As well as allow me to store the prizes in the drawer.
