My Students

My middle school choir students love life! They are energetic, enthusiastic, emotional, crazy, loving, kind, and most of all fun to be around! My students are a diverse group of adolescents that love to sing together. They are supportive of each other and really have a familial bond. I teach not only singing, but teamwork, being okay with mistakes (and learning from them), how to strive for perfection, being a part of a bigger whole, respect, and discipline. I love my students and honestly think I am the luckiest teacher in the world!

My Project

Dolce Voices from NAMS is traveling to New York! We will be singing at Carnegie Hall for "The Music of Russell Robinson" concert series, sponsored by DCINY.

While in New York, we want to take in as many musical opportunities as possible.

We will be going to a Broadway show, and attending a Choral workshop to go along with the show will really give them a sense of the hard work that goes into being on Broadway!

So many of my students have not even been out of our state. This will really give them an experience to remember!
