My students are made up of a high poverty population, and just like other children, many of them have a difficult time sitting still in the classroom. My students have a variety of home settings, from homeless, foster families, single family incomes, and traditional families with and without jobs. They are very energetic students who need outlets for their energy.
"The struggle you're in today is developing the strength you need for tomorrow!" I want to allow my students to have movement in the classroom.
The school day sitting still can make for a very long day for most students.
My Project
Ever felt like you just couldn't stay in that seat another minute? My fifth grade students are extremely creative at inventing new and death defying ways to sit on their hard plastic chairs. Kids NEOROK Wobble Chairs will help my students move while learning. It has been proven that movement helps learning by keeping the oxygen flowing through their bodies! I have many students who have trouble staying awake in class due to home life.
Wobble stools will keep them moving and awake so that they can maximize their learning.
I also have many students who have a difficult time sitting still, and this will provide the movement that they need. Alternative seating is very important to the classroom when students don't get enough recess.
